Auction for a Cause

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

This is certainly not ebay where in you bid for an item and your done and just wait for your luck, there is more to it than that. Bidazzled.com is an online auction that redefines the market place by it’s new and unheard of scheme, offerings of up to 90% on brand named items.

The site offers a different mechanic that makes bidding interesting and worthwhile. Unlike in some sites where in you bid, win and go, winning bid items in Bidazzled.com gives you an option to be bought back for either paypal or cash and bids. Another good thing in here is there is no such bid losses that can be incurred in the process because Bidazzled.com gives you up to 50 bonus bids as an appreciation of your participation in order for you to save in purchasing an auction item less than the investment that you have put up for the auction. In a case to case basis scenario auction winner save up to 80%. Not only bidding is fun and worth while, it also makes you feel good that all these biddings are done for a cause. Bidazzled.com is meant to fund a lung cancer charity called The Ruch Foundation (www.theruchfoundation.com).

My readers could get a chance to have an exclusive offer of 15 additional bids using these codes on or before January 15. All you have to do is include these codes on the registration page. Absolutely no cost of any kind. For bloggers you may type in code: BBP1202A and for Twitter: BTP1202A.

Very Random Sunday

It's sunday again, a day of rest, me and my sister we're supposed to go to mindoro but gut tells me NO. So I am here right now at the heart of Megamall waiting for my I-pod to get fixed and planning to go and watch a movie. My sisters and I made plans of seeing each other in the house but because of their poor character they refused to show up and I do not know what is on their mind and I do not care at this point.

I am contemplating on watching 2012. Do not say I have a boring day because I do!

We've been climbing the Malayan Plaza stairs an awful lot. Technically 78 floors of cramped up stairs can be mentally challenging considering you have to do 78 lounges in 15-30 minutes. It's not the best thing in the world to do but I am doing it anyway because it is helping mi lazy thigh and my ever complaining mind. I can say after a month of going up and down I am loving 40% of it.

I got to chat with longtime College buddy Debbie Ng (now Te) and we we're also supposed to see each other today but she is currently busy opening the second branch of her D'Original Maki Haus.

YUMMY MAKI HOT OFF THE WOK..

Maki Haus was initially located at Banawe Street, Quezon City, a stone throw away from Lourdes Church in Retiro (N.S. Amoranto Avenue)and now has opened another branch in Timog.

THAT STICKY RICE WITH PEANUTS CALLED KIAMPONG.

I have yet to try her menu to see why it was such a hit to the fookien lunching people in the Banawe area. As of the moment all I have is debbie's shots of the food she has in her resto.

I will make a separate blog about how it taste like when I meet her in her maki haus on my FOOD BLOG (http://mealsforsteals.blogspot.com)

D' Original Maki Haus' Flagship store is located at 683 Banawe St. Q.C. Tel. No: 411-8767.

Sunday Song

God is my Refuge and God is My Strength
My Perfect Help in times of Trouble
See I will Not Fear though the earth should change
Mountains Shall Fade away

He who lives in me is great among creation
delivered me from savages of nations
As the lions raged My safety from Zion was raised
Because I walked in Faith.

Before June completely starts...

Vel and Boss wedding Pictures are <3 Thank you Mikimaws for the pictures sent in my email.

Did I just look like I am greedy for pearls right here. I was just checking to see what I got.

I have a feeling Mr. Jaypeepol took this shot. He was the only person behind me who has a camera.

Pablo bits:

We just finished with his 3rd month check up and shots Pablito gained a kilo from eating chicken. He knows his position in the Bed now, He marked it by peeing which is I think is gross. Whenever i put him away from me when i sleep he barks to let me know its time for him to be on my side.

Sadly I cannot bring him with me to work anymore, the building admin now knows I have been sneaking him in. But It is timely because he needs to get used to the set up or I will end up having head aches in the future.

I'd like to share our last photo op *sigh (lol)

Driving Lessons:

I just finished my driving lessons with the driving school I'm enrolled with. The Instructors recommendation was more practice and have my footwork get used to the whole gas and clutch thing and yes I agree, I really need more practice. I just found out from friends that I paid a high price for the hours of my lesson. I got a deal of 3k for a 5 hour lesson which was too high of a price to pay because some of my friends told me they got theirs same price 10 hours from another driving school. At least now I know that when I get a refresher I'll scout around for a good deal first or better yet just have my refresher with a friend and a friend's car and just pay for the hours and gas.

Sleepweek

This is a bad sleep week. I usually start my week sleep pattern on a sunday to sync in my weeks sleeptime, but sadly I overslept sunday and underslept monday so I ended up with a messed up sleep week. I feel sleepy 12pm and wake up in odd times like 3pm or so. It's a good thing my work starts at 12:00 am and can still sleep evenings from 7:00 to 11:00 pm even for just a bit so I do not end up lethargic at work.

It is already June and it's december once again. A few months from now two months to be exact It will be my third year working with the company I am with and I noticed that this is a new experience and the difference was huge from the time I started working here.

Veronika Decides to Die World Premier Update

I just got a tweetfeed from Paulo Coehlo saying he just met with the Producers of Veronika Decides to die and the world premier is set to be in Korea. Lovely for a filipino because it is just four hours away from here.

Dog Bites

You know when all of a sudden things are so great because an animal just obeyed what you said that you pat your self at the back thinking man I did a great job training that all turns out to be the other way around. The Dog is training me on 10 things all at ones. He trained me to connect with people and not be square, specially when they get so liked in the street. Just today I had 2 new friends bringing back and forth Pablo to work. He taught me how to be patient in care fr his feeding times medicines. He put me in a routine. He made me allow a pet to lick all of me. He made me feel special right on the very first day, he made me believe in the saying love at first sight which I found very strange. He made me sweet and be okay with it and a whole lot more.

Dog Mother's Day.

Pablo's ear is undergoing rehab so that some ear bones will grow so it will be the same as the other ear.

Got him a chew toy which he enjoys right now. He is currently sick and has colds.

Never the less, he still manages to be cute with his droopy eyes and all.

I just hate seeing him struggle with breathing and coughing.

Holy Spirit Days and Facebook

Facebook just gets very interesting everyday seeing my very very old bonds from grade school, stuff I chose to forget going back as funny memories.

I have always remembered my self as an accidental crazy kid who did all sorts of stuff and one heck of a liar back when I was in grade school, I never knew the intensity of it not until now, in the midst of adding people I get a message in my inbox that says:

I'm anticipating more to come as I add those familiar faces.

Pablo blurbs and stuff

Pablo now wags his teeny tush when he is excited. It's kinda cute and when you call his name he tilts his head. I love him more everyday. He is sweet, utterly sweet sometimes I wonder why when I just got him. Dogs can be very amazing they transform your toughness into some sweet greatness. I bring him to the office now and he entertain us with his crazy playful trait.

Mangyan Medical Mission is up and coming so I encourage people to go and volunteer.

Pablo's Den

Today I went to the grocer got irritated at the baggage boy for assuming that I know what lobby he was referring to, I waited 20 minutes for his cart to come by Gold's Gym side of Galleria but he just zoomed right in the lobby of my place. I stopped getting irritated when I realized that I assumed too that the lobby that he was talking about was gallerias lobby and not ours. Heck.

Any way, I left Pablo for an hour in the couch with my 2 furry pillows and when I came back he was crying and good thing did not crap or pee in it. His first day lying in the bed he got a mad screaming of "NO!" and that day on was a lesson of not taking a dump on soft objects. Now when he feels tiles, he craps and poops in it. I still have to train him to go to the bathroom I'm still helping him jump up and down the bathroom elevation. Right at this moment he is sleeping soundly in his bed on the den I created for him.

Dog's are such a blessing to have. I am lucky the dog I got likes me.
This dog likes to cuddle my neck and I get so weak when he does.

I had a pet cat named Polly, I can say i was not ready to have him as a pet when I got him that we did not have a very good time together and he kinda has his own thing going on and is not really sweet by nature. I like it that this Dog likes me. We both like each other because I am starting to develop a love relationship of washing crapped crate and wiping his crapped floor area and pee. For some reason I didn't mind him licking every bit of my face and his poo and pee does not smell as nasty as I imagined it will be.

Meet Pablo..

He is so adorable. He by far is my first dog. Love him so...He is so sweet. Cleaning his poopoo is not a chore its a delight. For the first time a dog licked my face and I had no issues with it. I had an issue with it with my cat. His name is Pablo Honey..I call him Pablo

Good News Pilipinas

There is a lot of things I really don't know about the Philippines that I find fascinating seeing on this website: http://goodnewspilipinas.com. I just chanced upon it in Rico Hizon's profiles, a cool guy actually been watching this dude in BBC and proud to say our very own, one of those good news he owes to put in this site.

There's just a lot of things Pinoy's are getting on right now, I mean aside from trading in U.S. OTC market ofcourse ( this calls for BCHC and other stock other than PLDT) which I am very much sorrounded with. This site is just this place to go to find out good news about our country I use it to show brokers and investors about what's happening in the Philippines.

I just want this site to creep up alexia's top sites. This is what should dominate the www in Philippine searches.

Kudos to Rico and his team.

And the whole world goes TWEET!

I did not get twitter at first let alone play with it even if my friends were into it. Grass convinced me to play with it she said celebrity tweets are kind of funny, and so I did check it out started to add some people and realized that theres just a ginormous crowd of people twithearting each other making people see through Oprah, Madonna et al, easier. Twitter encapsulates the world in 140 characters starting with the question "What are you doing."

People have different responses to that, you can call twitter a behavior meter. Paris Hilton can respond to you in the confines of her relationship with Doug ( I dont really know doug, but it's always in her tweets) Oprah can Respond to it communicating with her twithearts' Hugh Jackman et al. CNN responds to you with it's delivery of breaking news. OTCBCHC delivers realtime quote for the stock BCHC. Radrad tweets his rants about his housemates and how stinky his house is. I tweet the stops and starts of my day. Ashton Kutchner races head to head with cnn to the number of followers they get in his quest to gain tweetilarity.

You can add me in your tweets: http://twitter.com/theremymarie

The Wedding Experience

Went to a wedding ceremony sunday, I am not really good at weddings there's a lot of stiffness in a ceremony wherein you are supposed to be happy and free to go up to the bride and groom and give your best hug for not getting scared of that pseudo commitment of a contract written in paper. But instead because of the glamor of the day that is supposedly "perfect" you experience pressure and sheer stiffness. I left without even saying goodbye to the bride and groom who is busy getting a perfect picture per table. I'm sure they did not enjoy the stiffness too. I spoke to the groom he is more excited for the honeymoon because it's just going to be both of them. All this ceremony shenanigan is really for the parents and friends. It's actually a good lesson coming to these weddings I'm talking about this whole procedure of getting married. If you are going to ask me how the ceremony went I like it because it wasn't very emotional. I like the couple how they dealt with it, they know the real deal why they like each other they weren't emotional, they are cute and funny in the wedding to me it was perfect because they were who they are there was a time when they were just talking in a gazebo after they were married in the church and really savored the moment for themselves giggling in their gown and barong I think to me that was better seeing them there than in the church. Got to see old acquaintances and just chatted for a while. You realize in conversations things are different, miles away different I guess that is the way things really are. I did not sing as we originally planned and thank goodness like what am I gonna sing right? Dashboard Confessional already did their very best bit in the Photo collage by singing Stolen, that pretty defines how they stole each others heart from hating each other to death because she was pretty uptight and he was very vocally blunt and arrogant! (I very much remember this, as I am always caught in the crossfire) Ed was one of those good friends at work I can talk sense with he worked in a call center for a reason, to watch and sit and make fun of society and how they mess around with a so called career and things that are not right that tend to amuse the both of us as we called and messed around as team mates in a call center unit named Jaypeepol, the best team I have been in so far with Vel as our Team Leader whose head ached because we were a pain in the ass because we both did not see the need to kiss her ass. Vel became one of my housemates in P4 and one of those friends I liked because she is her own person, she decides because she is confident about where things are going to go, she is a smart woman with a beautiful face and sense of responsibility. We were all hand picked to be together working on a team in Globalstride called Jaypeepol by Mr. Jaypee Santiago who was in the wedding as well. As of date Vel is working for Jaypee as a PM and Ed invested on a SPED school in Ortigas.

I never really had that much wedding experience same way as other people have. By far this is my second wedding experience. I have not much of it I think because I was sorrounded by Gays and Lesbians and women and men that are floating around like pollen bees that run out of honey.

And what did I do there? I did the offertory and I did not now how to do it, I don't know if roman catholic rules changed now in offertories I was battling as to do I kiss the priest hand after I give the gifts or bow there even but I just gave the basket and said.."here you go sir".

The Dorkiest Most Amusing Low budgeted comedy film review (this is not a paid one)

I really recommend you get this dvd and watch it in a time when you just watched a suspense movie. This is brain numbing hilarious movie, it wouldnt even produce external laughter. This is a Tale about an american dude who tries so hard to make it in Japan as a businessman and his roommate Jerome who tries so hard to be a sumo wrestler in their quest to pay the rent bills and success on Tiger Industries. Enjoy this dorkish movie by Dave Boyle.

The website can be seen here.

I have 4 more DVD's to watch and I shall go back to revamping this blog. :D

And so I moved to my new humble shack

I got a decent place in the city a 30 sq studio fully furnished. Living alone again for some un strange reason is all of a sudden new to me again.

Tyra Banks says, "Kiss my fat Ass"

I think she is beautiful not being skinny. Very beautiful even standing up for herself against those horrid teasers.

I think these lousy comment on anyones weight is certainly harming not only these celebrities' self esteem but also the people who see fat people getting teased. Thats why people strive hard to get skinny so they wont get "ostracised".

Blurbs while waiting for my cardio moment

It is tough without my laptop these days. As I look for other alternatives on where I can find a cheap lcd replacement, my cellphone's capabilities are maximized as a browing replacement for my immediate hulabaloos (email and social networking blahs).

Months are getting very fast every year now, this year I am on my way to thrity-dom, Im counting a week and it is already march while every one is rushing to the next beach trip I am getting all excited/ itchy/ pumped/ or whatever I can call it to the next thing I am going to know about myself. I m now all gung ho in my reading sprees and in a book buffet. Aside from which I am busy taming my big ego and being helped on my people relations. Seriously, it's been so comfortable being alone since I am so used to cooking my brain but my near thrity year lonesome spree show that it aint working out. So right now I am making a logical emotional decision to succumb to whatever discipline I have to go through.

I encourage you folks to volunteer your time and brains to Lifeline Foundation and one of it's causes by adding this facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=48582366311&ref=nf. It will be good if you can attend the meetings but if not your own ways count, you can spread the word and link to your page or visit www.ineedalifeline.org

If you are a widget maker you are very much wanted. A web programmer and designer you are needed. If you are an SEO expert who would like to volunteer for this cause and spread this word remotely by putting up a link in your blog and or website, you are wanted as well. If you care enough and have passion for legal adoption and animal welfare or an individual who would like to help in medical missions, who want to go with us and change your life by giving your heart mind and expertise for Cambodia and Darfur missions, or if you are a passionate basketball player, soccer player and or art teacher who's heart is to share your talents and make a difference to kids who want to learn and rise beyond poverty thinking but cannot afford to have the said special skill classes and you are indeed one of the many people that can make a difference and be in our team.

IMO, if you feel stuff and caught up with your own life, the best way to get out of it is to think of other people. Try volunteering, it builds something. Whenever I feel caught up with my issues I try my best to look at other people who need help how i wish it becomes built in me in the long run. So let's volunteer na!

:D

My 101th Post

Yesterday I came from a wedding shower. It is going to be the wedding of my former team leader/ former housemate/ friend Vel, who is marrying Ed my friend/ Former drinking buddy/ frmer teammate.

It's funny how they met. They used to be so sick of each other and someway sometime they ended up liking each other stuck together and decided to marry.

And I would I will be a wedding singer who is supposed to wear a deep red long gown. A color I have never worn all my life. Well It would be an adventure somehow.

To date they are the second couple I see marry in my 29 year life. It's cool.

I'm currently reading the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. I have just finished the part of Habit 1 Which is be proactive. It is interesting to know that a lot about our language speaks about how reactive a person we are as supposed to be proactive. If you are a person who talks as if everything is beyond your circumstance such as the use of words I have to, I need to, If only, If I had you are most likely to be a reactive person who's circle of concern is bigger than your circle of influence. Changing a Have over a Be attitude makes a person proactive enough to widen his circle of influence over matters and concerns. The change is simply Choices over feelings and exercising our RESPONSE-ABILITY. It's cool how he had this all written down to be really embedded as a habit by giving exercise suggestions on how to practice the habit. I am taking his 30 day proactive challenge he says just make small commitments for 30 days to exercise your response-ability. Its interesting because just last saturday in our night meeting Luis talked about the difference of the phrase I did all I can vs I am doing all I can which is a perfect example of coveys statement on a reactive response as oppose to a proactive response of "there is nothing I can do" vs. "Let us look for our alternatives". In my thrity day proactive challenge, I wrote down three things that bug me the most about my present state and the solution and action steps that I will be implementing. I thought about it as not so hard which are things I already know that I should do but have never exercised response-ability over. It will be for sure a challenge for "feeling" over "being".

A review of Kclanparty's website

The site is an informative site that features unusual stuff you cannot see else where. I like the Car Post. I don’t like the main page though because its unnecessary because the blog is already neat and doesn’t need a front page with Chinese characters and a green motif when the website is all dark blends of red and black. I like the BMW Swirly Whirly picture in one of the posts and I like it how the photos are positioned to catch the eye of the viewer. I would like to suggest though to put categories in the side panels that can easily be tracked and viewed because I had to look for it myself.
By the way if you want you can check out cd crack call of duty
